Phlebotomist / Lab Office Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an employee who has the ability to work as a Phlebotomist and Lab Office Assistant. We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to work Monday to Friday to provide coverage for staff, as needed, who typically work 8:00 – 3:00. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working periodically and is not interested in working on a regular basis.


  • Certificate of Phlebotomy
  • One year minimum experience required
  • Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

Switchboard Receptionist

We are currently recruiting for a Switchboard Receptionist to work at the Information Desk.

This is a job-share position which requires the successful incumbent to work 15 hours per week, 3 days per week.

This position is on a rotational schedule of 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, one week and 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm the next week, Monday-Friday and must be available to cover for the other job share person during vacation and other absences.


  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and use good judgement
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working on a busy multi-line switchboard
  • Must be an efficient multi-tasker who can successfully manage responsibilities in a timely and professional manner while working in a fast-paced, and noisy environment.

  • Responsibilities

    • Answer telephone calls on a multi-line telephone system
    • Appropriately direct calls in a timely manner
    • Greet and direct visitors
    • Provide general information to visitors
    • Perform reception tasks in support of the Centre using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

We are seeking a part-time RN or RPN who is available 2 to 3 Friday’s per month

    • Must have the ability sterilize equipment according to procedures and complete annual Public Health Ontario training for Autoclave users.
