Family Health Team Programs

Patients rostered to The Medical Centre Family Physicians are eligible to participate in a variety of Family Health Team programs. Please see the links below for more information.

Registered Dietitian

We have a full time Registered dietitian that can be accessed by our patients at the Medical Centre only. We will accept self referrals as well as any referral from our Physicians and Nurse practitioners but you must be a patient at the Medical Centre. In office and virtual appointments are offered.

Mental Health Services

We have 3 full time Mental Health clinicians and 1 full time Social Worker that can be accessed by our patients at the Medical Centre only. A referral from your Physician and or Nurse practitioner is needed. In office and virtual appointments are offered.

Peterborough Family Health Team Programs and Workshops

Peterborough Family Health team offers multiple programs and workshops that are available to our patients. These programs are changed quarterly and updated under the link below. If interested in attending a program or workshop please visit the website below. It is a self referring sign up which means no referral is needed to sign up. Any questions or concerns you can contact the program office at 705-740-8020 and ask for Programs and Services.

INR Clinic

The Medical Centre offers an INR clinic for our Medical Centre patients only. This clinic runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 185 King st. You can contact Peterborough Family Health Team (King st) at 705-740-8020 or The Medical Centre at 705-740-8383.

Team Managed Diabetes Program

The Medical Centre offers patients a Diabetes Program that can be accessed by a referral from your Physician and or Nurse Practitioner. The team is made up of 1 Pharmacist and 1 Dietitian to meet the needs of the diabetic patients.In office and virtual appointments are offered.
